here are three important National Cultural Assets, including
the Deva gate, Kongo-rikishi (Deva) statue, and the miniature
shrine in the main building, established about 1200 years ago.
Among
those, the Kongo-rikishi statue is made in the 11 or 12 century
(late Heian Period) and about 3.8m tall. It is one of the best
statues in Japan in its history and size. |
